Labor Day weekend is a little light on craft beer events. Don’t worry though, plenty of Oktoberfest celebrations are kicking off next week.
Lots of anniversaries this week. Gathering Place Brewing celebrates eight years of business and Station No. 06 has been around for six. On Sunday, Sprecher Brewing raises a glass to 40 years of beer (and soda). Cheers to four decades!

This week’s beer events are short on quantity but don’t lack for quality. One of the highlights is Wisconsin IPA Fest, celebrating its ninth year at Third Space Brewing on Saturday.
It’s hard to believe that the Milwaukee Brewfest is in its 15th year. The fest, which has an enviable location along the lakefront, is happening on Saturday.
A big cheers to Vennture Brew Co., which celebrates its seventh anniversary on Saturday.

The big news is that Sunday is 1840 Brewing’s last day in business. 1840 has been a huge part of the local brewing scene since 2017.
