HoneyBee Sage Is a Dry January Must-Try ‘Hive’

HoneyBee Sage Is a Dry January Must-Try ‘Hive’

With a second location opened in autumn, the community wellness space serves creative NA cocktails.

HoneyBee Sage’s cozy new location inside the Third Ward’s Marshall Building has a smaller footprint than its 7-year-old Bronzeville flagship, a community “hive” geared to wellness.

The new spot leans into grab-and-go, but some things are worth slowing your roll for – that applies to the menu of nonalcoholic craft cocktails made with spirit alternatives, teas, bitters, juices and such.

For owner and sober ally Angela Mallett, what’s important is that each (including the Warm Ember Glow here) gives the drinker an “experience” – something she believes to be the foundation of wellness. Tues-Sat 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 207 E. Buffalo St.
