This ‘Frozen’-Themed Tea at the Pfister Hotel | Milwaukee Magazine

A ‘Frozen’-Themed Tea Is Coming to the Pfister

The hotel is hosting the whimsical tea for one day only.

Disney’s Frozen is about to begin its run – it starts April 6 – at Uihlein Hall of the Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. While that production alone is enough to garner excitement, the Pfister Hotel is making it even sweeter with a special Frozen-themed Afternoon Tea on April 6.

The tea – held at Blu, the bar/lounge on the 23rd floor of the Pfister (424 E. Wisconsin Ave.) – has two different menu options. There’s the Victorian, which, along with the guest’s selection of tea, includes cucumber sandwiches, crab Dijon salad on micro toast, Scottish smoked salmon tart, Gruyere and smoked gouda gougeres, caprese tart, pancetta crisp with goat cheese and a multitude of sweets, from mini scones and French macarons to cheesecake fruit tarts.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

For kids 12 and younger, the All Grown Up option features warm sipping chocolate, lemonade, cider or milk along with roasted turkey and cheddar finger sandwiches, cheese twists, cocktail franks en croute and the same sweet treats as the Victorian.

Gluten-free and vegan options are available, as well.

Tea-goers will also receive a Frozen-themed goody bag. Love Elsa, Olaf and Anna? Guests will be able to meet them in person at the tea! Also, it’s perfectly acceptable, if not encouraged, to dress as a favorite character.

Seatings start every 30 minutes from noon to 2 p.m.

Cost: $40 children ages 2-11; $67 adults and children 12 and older
