Check Out T-Pain’s New Wiscansin Apparel Line

T-Pain’s one off line continues to be a sensation for the state, with the artist’s new clothing line being the latest in all things Wiscansin.

In his 2008 love ballad “Can’t Believe It,” T-Pain offers accommodations to a love interest– a condo in Toronto, a log cabin in Aspen, and in a gravity-defying rhyme, a “mansion in Wiscansin.” That single line has been good for T-Pain, leading to an annual Wiscansin Fest and now a Wiscansin University themed clothing line.

Wiscansin Apparel was launched by T-Pain’s Nappy Boy Entertainment on Sept.16 and offers a college wear inspired line of t-shirts, jerseys, hats, backpacks, jogging pants, and more that will help in “taking the pain out of college.” Wiscansin University, according to the brand’s website, offers a fictional curriculum like an advanced “Drifting 400” class, “Accounting for Strippers,” Mixology, Podcasting, Booty Wurk and even a course on where it all started: “Can’t Believe It: The Psychology of Surprise and Disbelief.”

The Wiscansin line ranges in price from $15 “trunkies” a pair of boxer shorts with a pink elephant face with a strategically placed trunk, to a $130 “Juckbag” that comes in blue and green or black and white. Also available – Wiscansin U Grand Slam jerseys in black or orange ($100), a “Debate Club” long sleeve shirt ($70), and a plaid bucket hat ($20).

The fourth Wiscansin Fest took place at The Rave/ Eagle’s Ballroom on June 14 last year and featured performances by Pusha T, GloRilla, Feid and others in addition to T-Pain.

“We took this year off so the next Wiscansin Fest can be bigger, badder and better than before,” T-Pain shared in a June 11 Facebook post. “We’ll be in Wiscansin again soon.”

Although T-Pain’s Wiscansin Fest got him a “T-Pain Day” proclamation from the City, his plan for a “Wisconsin State Fear” last year was less well received. The event featured car drifting, karaoke and carnival rides at the Milwaukee Mile. A dispute over the event name, carnival rides (which they said would attract gangs) and policing the event led to it being moved to Road America in Elkhart Lake.

Not a problem if you aced your “Pivoting Your Drifting Carnival Event” coursework at Wiscansin U.
