5 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: Nov. 25-29

It’s the busiest beer week of the year. Black Friday is a big one, but also be sure to swing by your local brewery on Small Brewery Sunday.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) gives over a few of its taps to Three Floyd’s at 5 p.m. Permanent Funeral Imperial IPA is on the menu, and it’s an amazing beer fresh from the tap.

Both Eagle Park Brewing locations (823 E. Hamilton St. and S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy, Muskego) are donating $1 of every full pour of beer to the Hunger Task Force. They’re also raffling off a $500 prize at each.

Miss You Fest continues at Burnhearts (2599 S. Logan Ave.). Swing by from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 3 to 6 p.m. on Black Friday and 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday to pick up to-go drinks like old fashioneds and hot toddies, and more than few rarities from Central Waters.

Thursday, Nov. 26

While it’s not a beer-related event, Faklandia Brewing (3807 S. Packard Ave.) deserves mention for putting together the Thanksgiving Food Drive Thru. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. they’ll be handing out 300 frozen meals to those in need. Contribute to their Go Fund Me if you want to help cover some of the cost.

Sunday, Nov. 29

I can think of no better time to recognize Small Brewery Sunday. Head to your favorite local brewery (or several of them) and pick up a few cans, bottles, growlers. The small breweries around town could use your help.
