Why You Might Want This Mobile Wine Bar at Your Wedding

It’s the wheel deal.

Wine on tap served from the back of a three-wheeled Vespa? That’s the concept behind La Piccola Corvina, or the Little Corvina.

The mobile wine bar is built into a vintage Italian Piaggio Ape manufactured in the ’70s. With the bar cart comes the expertise of Corvina sommeliers. Beyond vino, the bar also can serve craft beer and signature cocktails like negronis, Venetian spirits, sangria and margaritas.

“We bring an elevated bar experience to your wedding,” says Frank LaSusa, who co-owns Corvina Wine Co. (6038 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis) with his brother Joe.

Frank’s interior designer wife, Roxanne, came up with the idea for the Italian-inspired mobile bar and shaped the design and aesthetic, making it something that could adapt to all kinds of events, and even specific wedding motifs.

Says Frank: “If there’s a boho or vintage theme, we’re able to coordinate [the wine bar] with that theme of the wedding.”
