This Bites: Girl Scout Cookies and Beer Pairings

It takes a delicate palate.

Have you ever thought about drinking a Samoa (Caramel deLite) with a certain beer, wine or spirit? That duo ‒ alcohol and a certain Girl Scout cookie ‒ is most definitely a thing. Tarik Moody and I talk about it on this edition of This Bites, on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. There’s a bar in Racine where you can partake in a formal beer-cookie pairing this weekend.

Also on our agenda is the Local Farmer Open House on Saturday, March 10 at the Urban Ecology Center in Riverside Park ‒ awesome if you’re considering subscribing to a CSA this summer. Sunday the 11th is Rockabilly Chili at MSOE’s Kern Center. And looking ahead to next week, there’s Pi Day ‒ one of my faves, for sure ‒ on Wednesday, March 14 (think Honeypie), and the celebration of Las Fallas (which involves puppets and gin and tonics) at Movida
