This Bites: Food Truck Season and Negroni Week

Also: the changes at Meraki in Walker’s Point and the restaurant slated to open in the new Milwaukee Brewing Co. complex.

You’re here for This Bites, on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, and Tarik Moody and I are going to give it to you. Boy, are we going to give it you. This week, we start with a little food truck talk — some trucks to look for this summer, including Press and Drift. If you love a stiff cocktail, The Outsider rooftop bar at the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel is hosting Negroni Week starting with a kickoff party on June 3. There are some five kinds of negronis you can sample.

Keep listening and you’ll hear about the changes at Meraki, and about the plans in the works for SmallPie cafe, opening this summer in Bay View (and a sister to Honeypie). We finish up with Glass & Griddle, slated to open in late summer at the Milwaukee Brewing Co. complex on the Pabst Brewery grounds.

Listen to “June 1st – MKE Food Trucks, Negroni Week, Honey Pie, Meraki and Glass & Griddle” on Spreaker.
