2. World’s Tallest Glass Tree

This is the last weekend to see the World’s Tallest Glass Tree in Williams Bay. There will also be an art fair, including handmade glassware. On Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m., the installation will be completed with a blow glass star topper. Find more information here.

3. Golden Girls Holiday Special at La Cage

This is the final weekend to catch this dinner and drag show at La Cage. Enjoy cocktails and dinner (or lunch, for the matinee) ahead of the show, and then watch the Golden Girls perform. 4. Animal Encounters at Discovery World

Things are getting wild at Discovery World this weekend. Wild animals, that is. Meet turtles and snakes, and explore the Great Lake Future exhibit. No additional ticket beyond admission is required.
5. Santa’s Christmas Cavalcade
FRIDAY FROM 5-7:30 P.M. | DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE
Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride through Downtown Milwaukee on a vintage fire truck while local singer/songwriter Sarah Fierek sings holiday tunes. It leaves from the Milwaukee Public Market and will travel east on Wisconsin Avenue toward the lakefront, passing Pere Maquette Park, Cathedral Square, Zeidler Union Square, Catalano Square and the Hoan Bridge. The Hunger Task Force will be accepting donations from attendees before the trip departs the Market at 5:15 p.m.
6. The Fitzgeralds 150th Birthday
FRIDAY AT 6:30 P.M. | THE FITZGERALD
The Fitzgerald celebrates its 150th anniversary this Friday, and Pabst Theater Group is throwing a party to celebrate. The band Whole Yachta Love will perform yacht rock hits from the ’70s and ’80s throughout the event, and yacht rock attire is encouraged. There will be an open bar and appetizers included with a ticket. Get tickets here.
7. Charlie Brown Tree Lot

This is the last day to check out the Charlie Brown tree lot at Milwaukee Public Market. From “Charlie Brown” trees to fully grown trees ranging from 4 to 10 feet, there will be lots of trees to peruse.
8. Zawadi Day
