Grace Reiter — a comedian born and raised in Chippewa Falls who cut her chops on TikTok and online sketch comedy, including her massively viral 42-minute “The Hunger Games (but better)” parody — is set to become (we believe) the third-ever Wisconsin-native Saturday Night Live cast member.

The legendary NBC program announced that Reiter and New Yorker Saidah Belo-Osagie were being added to the cast.
Reiter’s star has been rising since she was a teenager, when her TikTok career launched, leading to appearances on The Drew Barrymore Show and later producing content with “American High Shorts” and “College Life.”
Her first lead roles have come in the last two years, when she was tabbed to star Netflix’s Minimum Wage and in HBO’s avant-garde comedy The Chair Company, created by SNL alum Tim Robinson. Her work in Chair Company led to her being added to Time Magazine’s TIME100 Creators 2026.
Reiter joins the beloved Chris Farley as Wisconsinites-turned-SNLers. He was a cast member from 1990-1995, hosted the show once in 1997 before his death on Dec. 18 of that year. Reiter was born four years later.
The only other Wisconsin-native to be a regular SNL cast member (who we are aware of) is Ann Risley, who appeared in 12 episodes in the 1980-81 season.
