With the addition of this bakery, Crossroads is officially at full vendor capacity.

Bay View’s SmallPie has signed on to a space at Crossroads Collective (2238 N. Farwell Ave.), the food hall inside the former Oriental Pharmacy. SmallPie ‒ sister to Honeypie and Palomino ‒ opened its first location (2504 E. Oklahoma Ave.) in summer of 2018.

The bakery is known for sweet and savory (meat, veggie) hand pies. It also offers homemade bagels, quiche, pie by the slice and assorted other pastries. The bakery is expected to open in the “next couple of weeks,” according to a press release from the East Side food hall.

In other Crossroads news, Pilcrow Coffee is also offered at Crossroads’ bar, which is known as The Pharmacy. Pilcrow’s cold-brew nitro and Sweet & Creamy nitro latte have been offered all summer. And customers can now get their mitts on espresso, drip coffee, lattes and caffeinated cocktails. Pie and coffee sounds like a perfect fall two-fer.

Prior to these openings, the most recent arrival to the food hall is the great Egg & Flour Pasta Bar, which debuted in May.
