Heading to Cathedral Square Market? Here's what to expect.

Milwaukee’s summer festivals and farmer’s markets are in full swing! Cathedral Square is home to several Milwaukee festivals and recurring summer events, including Jazz in the Park, Firkin Fest and Bastille Days. And every Saturday morning (June 3 through October 7 this year), from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. East Town Association hosts Cathedral Square Market there.

Cathedral Square Market makes Saturday mornings worth waking up for. There is no shortage of eat-now and take-home foods to suit any taste, from vegetarian options to high-quality seafood. Beyond the Wisconsin-grown and -made produce, crafts and prepared food, the market also provides chef demos, dance workshops, local music acts and free outdoor yoga sessions.

We stopped by the June 17 market, the third of the 2017 season. Saturday’s entertainment line-up included free yoga in the park provided by the Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC), Danceworks Creative Dance and music by Paul Gillick.
