Why You Should Nominate a Milwaukee Charity for a Complete Makeover

Another Milwaukee non-profit will be receiving a makeover, and we can’t wait to see who it is.

Yes, Design for a Difference is back in Milwaukee for a second year! We’re thrilled that Milwaukee Magazine will be partnering with Floor 360 to again to make a difference in our community.

Every year since 2015, the Wisconsin flooring showroom and design firm, Floor 360, has teamed up with the national organization Design for a Difference to completely remodel the space of a deserving nonprofit.

Last year,  in honor of their new Milwaukee location (12500 W. Silver Spring Dr.), Floor360 decided to renovate in their new community. They selected the Walker’s Point Youth and Family Center to receive the makeover. The center shelters runaway, homeless and other youth and their families. They also provide services to help resolve personal problems, strengthen family relationships and support safe homes.

The transformation of this local shelter has made a huge difference in the way the center is able to provide care to local youth.

Now, Floor360 is ready to start all over again with a new local nonprofit, but they need nominees.

Do you know of a local charity in need of help? Nominate them! Does your non-profit need a makeover? Nominate yourself!

To nominate a local non-profit by Feb. 29, click here. The nominee will be announced late March 2020.

Looking to help out? Design professionals. Interior designers. Architects. Design students. Any person, business, or organization with a passion to impact the community in a positive way. You’re needed too.
