  • Just in time for gift-giving season, Money has tallied up the best (Nordstrom) and worst (Forever 21) retail return policies.
  • The NFL, and Packers executives, are attempting to get in front of the negative publicity that will likely follow the soon-to-be-released Concussion, which stars Will Smith and will be released on Dec. 25.
  • The Turkish military shot down a Russian military plane that they allege had crossed into Turkish air space, The New York Times reports.

  • Last night, Lindsay Heights residents discussed what they think their neighborhood needs, reports the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service. Some responses: a better grocery store, an MATC outpost, and a place for youth to socialize without leaving the neighborhood.

Claire Hanan worked at the magazine as an editor from 2012-2017. She edited the Culture section and wrote stories about all sorts of topics, including the arts, fashion, politics and more. In 2016, she was a finalist for best profile writing at the City and Regional Magazine Awards for her story "In A Flash." In 2014, she won the the Milwaukee Press gold award for best public service story for editing "Handle With Care," a service package about aging in Milwaukee. Before all this, she attended the University of Missouri's School of Journalism and New York University's Summer Publishing Institute.
