Here’s what we’re reading today.

A man was stabbed to death on the East Side this morning, near the corner of Arlington and Brady. Police are looking for a suspect, who apparently knew the victim.

The Legislature continues to ignore overwhelming public support for expanding to private sales, the requirement for background checks in gun purchases, the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism reports.

Alan Borsuk had a fine Sunday column in the JS about his longtime neighborhood, Sherman Park.

A New Jersey woman is suing the Brewers over injuries she sustained at Miller Park when she was hit in the face by a batted ball during batting practice in 2014.

In other bad Brewers news, they got swept by the Pirates in four games over the weekend.
