The face behind the infamous Todd Packer character in “The Office” is coming to Brew City! David Koechner, a comedian and actor, has four standup sets scheduled at Milwaukee Improv this weekend, plus he’ll be hosting “The Office” trivia on Friday, where he’ll be fully in character as Packer.
“You get ‘The Office’ trivia hosted by the real Todd Packer,” Koechner says. “There’s three rounds of trivia, there’s audience participation and audience interaction, so it’s a real fun show.”

During the trivia event he’ll also tell behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the show, as well as the tale of how he got the gig. His standup, on the other hand, is more focused on stories from his life and observational humor.
“I’ve got five kids, that figures in there. I’ve been married and divorced, that figures in there. I’ve got three dogs, you can’t avoid that,” Koechner says. “So it’s [about] everything, whatever you deal with in life.”
