Bucks Arena Bill Passes with 21-10 Vote in State Senate

With 21 state senators voting in favor and 10 opposed, the Bucks arena bill has passed the Wisconsin State Senate.

The bill now heads to the Wisconsin State Assembly.

“It’s still to be determined when the Assembly will take up the arena bill,” says Kit Beyer, communications director for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R – Rochester).

Anything could happen when it comes to Wisconsin state government, but this is a big step toward construction of a new arena in Downtown Milwaukee.
