Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: Dec. 24-29

With Christmas landing in the middle of the week, the craft beer calendar is limited, but there are still a few events to consider. Happy holidays, craft beer lovers!

Tuesday, Dec. 24

Halfy Holidays at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) means half-off growlers from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stock up for Christmas Day to help you survive.

Thursday, Dec. 26

Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) releases cans of Tropi-Choco, a chocolate orange milk stout starting at 11 a.m.

If you’re still in the holiday spirit the day after Christmas, head to Pabst Milwaukee Brewery and Taproom (1037 W. Juneau Ave.) for a screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 28

Try samples from City Lights (noon to 2 p.m.) and Founders (1 to 3 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.).

Sunday, Dec. 29

Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) hosts the Not The Brewery Series Series from 4 to 6 p.m. New Belgium Brewing and the future of beer are the topics of discussion.

Vennture Brew Co. (5519 W. North Ave.) is hosting a Family Packer Potluck to wrap up the NFL’s regular season. Vennture is supplying hot ham and rolls, so feel free to bring a side to contribute.
