It’s not like Brewers fans need any reason to be ecstatic about baseball other than the fact the hometown team is in the World Series. But there are bars and breweries out there adding beer deals, and even the ultimate enticement – free suds! – to the mix. Here’s a beer-centric guide to watching the World Series.
Bavarian Bierhaus
700 W. LEXINGTON BLVD., GLENDALE
This list is alphabetical, but we would have started with this one anyway because: Free beer! Yup, Bavarian Bierhaus is giving away beer during the World Series, with moderation being the only strings attached. The beer hall will be showing the games on its 200-inch TV, and it’ll have a special Stadium Favorites World Series menu. The beer special runs for all nine innings of every game of the World Series. So, maybe we aren’t hoping for a Brewers sweep?
Brewfinity Brewing
N58W39800 INDUSTRIAL RD., OCONOMOWOC, AND 203 W. WISCONSIN AVE., PEWAUKEE
Brewfinity is rolling back the prices to 1982 at both taprooms. During the World Series you’ll be able to get a 12-ounce beer for $1.50 and nachos for $3.
Broken Bat Brewing
135 E. PITTSBURGH AVE.
The baseball-themed brewery is already an appropriate spot to watch the World Series. They’re offering $12 pitchers and $4 mug club pours to make it even more inviting.
Central Waters Brewing
1037 W. JUNEAU AVE.
A projector screen will be showing the games in the normally TV-less taproom, and two specials will keep you in beer: $4 tallboys of Grand Slam Lager tallboys and $1 off full-pour drafts.
Lowlands Hospitality Group restaurants
CAFE HOLLANDER LOCATIONS, CENTRAAL GRAND CAFÉ AND TAPPERY, CAFÉ BENELUX, BUCKTABON TAVERN AND SUPPER CLUB
Every Lowlands Hospitality Group spot will be showing the games and offering buy one, get one deals on its Belgian-brewed (or Belgian-inspired) Lowlands Brewing Collaborative beers starting at 5 p.m.
Major Goolsby’s
340 W. KILBOURN AVE.
The Major was one of the few local spots that was actually around in 1982 when the Brewers last made the World Series. It seems appropriate to indulge on their $10 pitcher deal during World Series games.
Miller Brewing
Miller is offering free beer, but you’re going to have to work for it. It comes in the form of a rebate on a single can, aluminum pint or draft pour of Miller Lite (16 ounces or larger) purchased between Friday and Nov. 4. Keep your receipt and submit it here. Miller’s also offering its Milwaukee brewery tour for free to 120 fans on Friday.
MobCraft Beer
505 S. FIFTH ST.
Take advantage of $5 Mobtoberfest pours during the games Friday and Saturday (for starters). The deal begins 30 minutes before first pitch.
Ope! Brewing Co.
6751 W. NATIONAL AVE., WEST ALLIS
Let’s hope the Brewers put up a ton of runs in the series. Every time the Crew scores, Ope! is offering half-price beers for the next 10 minutes.
Perspective Brewing
7508 W. GREENFIELD AVE., WEST ALLIS
Perspective is offering full pours for $5 and 20-ounce mug pours for $6 during games. And for those who are really thirsty, liters will be $10.
Raised Grain Brewing
1725 DOLPHIN DR., WAUKESHA
The brewery’s “tailgate special” features $2 off all beers from 5 to 7 p.m. and $2 pours of Guitar City Gold during the game.
Third Space Brewing
1505 W. ST. PAUL AVE. AND N71 W13040 W. APPLETON AVE., MENOMONEE FALLS
If you show your bartender this post from Facebook, you’ll get $2 pours of select Third Space beers during each World Series game.
