Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 22-26

Spooky season, a fall beer fest at Pilot Project and a 3 Sheeps visit to Station No. 06 are all on tap this week. Cheers!

Wednesday, Oct. 22

Craft a mosaic pumpkin at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 and include materials, instruction and a free first drink.

Thursday, Oct. 23

The Rare Bird Night Market presents Nightmare at the Brewery, which is happening at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 5 to 10 p.m. The market, which is free, will feature all sorts of oddities from more than 20 kooky vendors. Halloween-themed drinks and an R-rated brewery tour ($10) are also part of the night.

Make your very own flight board at the Flight Board Workshop taking place North Pillar Brewing (212 E. North St., Waukesha). Two Mikes Art Factory provides the materials and instruction. Cost is $65 and includes a free beer.

Friday, Oct. 24

Vennture Brew Co. (5519 W. North Ave.) is hosting the Drag-Cula Halloween Party at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.

Pilot Project (1128 N. Ninth St.) is releasing Brewer’s Kitchen Cosimo, a tiramisu-inspired stout, at 5 p.m.

Try samples from Third Space Brewing and New Belgium Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m. The Waukesha location (919 N. Barstow St.) offers samples from Boulevard Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 25

Pilot Project Fest is bringing nearly 30 area breweries, including many who make their beer at Pilot Project, to its roomy space. The fifth annual event includes live music, food, fire pits, games, a costume contest and more. General admission tickets are $38.

Family Fall Fun Day is happening at Foxtown Brewing’s Foxyard (6209 W. Mequon Rd.) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fun includes live music, food, face painting and, of course, beer.

There’s one more Oktoberfest on the calendar. Big Head Brewing (6204 W. State St., Wauwatosa) wraps up the season with its Oktoberfest celebration, taking place from 1 to 5 p.m.

Discount Liquor Milwaukee hands out samples of Leinenkugel’s Legacy Ale and Oktoberfest from noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 26

Eagle Park Brewing (815 E. Hamilton St.) hosts the Lower East Side Makers Market from noon to 5 p.m. More than 40 vendors will be there.

There’s a Halloween meat raffle happening at Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St., West Allis) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event includes a tap takeover by 3 Sheeps Brewing, and you earn double the raffle tickets when you order a 3 Sheeps beer.

Sunday, Nov. 9: One of the more unique regular local brewery events is the Bluegrass Gospel Brunch, which is happening at Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) at 11 a.m.
