Fundraiser for Mark Harris’ Family

Mark Harris’ death stunned everyone who knew him. The former Marquette University basketball player was a popular and much-loved principal at Shorewood Intermediate School, and he was only 40 years old when he died on Oct. 23, He is survived by his wife and three children. Now, friends are holding a fundraiser to support the Harris Family Children’s Fund. Half the proceeds from all food and beverage sales at the Knick, Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., will be donated to the fund. Also, there’s a silent auction at the Knickerbocker Hotel’s Juneau Room, with more than 80 items…

Now, friends are holding a fundraiser to support the Harris Family Children’s Fund. Half the proceeds from all food and beverage sales at the Knick, Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., will be donated to the fund. Also, there’s a silent auction at the Knickerbocker Hotel’s Juneau Room, with more than 80 items up for bid from 5-11 p.m. The auction features jewelry, artwork, gift certificates, Green Bay Packers tickets and autographed sports memorabilia, among other things.
