This Saturday, all of Bay View will be summoned to attend the one, the only Bay View Bash. Food, entertainment, and vendors selling arts and crafts, books and fashion will take over South Kinnickinnic Avenue between Potter and Clement. Food/beverage vendors for the 2014 event include Bay View’s Hue Vietnamese Restaurant, LuLu Café & Bar, Cream City Swirl, G. Groppi Food Market, Hamburger Mary’s MKE and Colectivo Coffee. To those who impatiently await the opening of The Vanguard (at 2659 S. KK), the staff will have a booth at the Bash as well. Chef Shay Linkus is planning to offer three kinds of sausage. Also at The Vanguard booth, local beverage company Top Note Tonic will offer draft tonic – from their line of premium bitter sodas. BV Bash 2014: Sept. 13, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
