The WSSP SportsRadio 1250 hosts just completed an all-night radio marathon, part of a charity drive to benefit the Max McGee National Research Center for Juvenile Diabetes.

Allen and Fifer went on the air at 10:32 p.m. Thursday. Fifer stuck around until 6 a.m., when he left to get in a nap before his regularly scheduled 2 p.m. “Big Show.” Allen didn’t sign off until 10 a.m., finishing the stretch alongside producer Joe Zenzola. Another producer, Dan Pfeifer, was with Allen and Fifer until 6 a.m.

As of 10 a.m., Allen and friends had raised $5,852 for their cause. Because they surpassed a radiothon goal of $5,000, Fifer must create a Twitter account, which he’s long resisted, and do some on-air singing during tonight’s Milwaukee Brewers postgame show.

Perhaps a rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On”?
