Thursday, May 7
The Tap Yard – Milwaukee (1555 N. RiverCenter Dr.) opens for the summer at 4 p.m.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is pouring samples from Bell’s Brewery from 2 to 4 p.m.
Friday, May 8
Try samples from both Young Blood Beer Co. (2 to 5 p.m.) and Gathering Place Brewing (4 to 6 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis). Lakefront Brewery is handing out samples at Discount Waukesha from 2 to 4 p.m.
Saturday, May 9
Torzala Brewing is celebrating four years in business with a street/park party off site at Harbor View Plaza (698 E. Greenfield Ave.) from 1 to 6 p.m. The festivities include food trucks, music and plenty of beer.
An anniversary party is also happening at Component Brewing (2018 S. First St.) at 2 p.m. They will be pouring Mosaic Theory IPA – the first of many great IPAs they’ve made in their eight years. This version is made with honey from Krings Family Farms. It pairs with food from Rosebud Grill.
The annual Blessing of the Bock is happening at Draft & Vessel (7419 Harwood Ave., Wauwatosa) at 2 p.m. Lakefront Brewery co-founder “Brother” Jim Klisch will bless Lakefront Maibock as a welcome to spring. There will be a few seasonal Lakefront beers on tap and as well as live goats (yup, goats!) at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 10
Grilled Cheese Fest is coming to the Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Hwy. Z) from noon to 6 p.m. Several grilled cheese food trucks pair nicely with an extensive beer list.

Wednesday, May 13: The Fermentorium (7481 State Rd. 60, Cedarburg) marks 10 years in brewing with several days of festivities that start on Wednesday and culminate with a big party on Saturday.
Thursday, May 14: Pilot Project Brewing hosts Common Thread, a nationwide tour of community events intended to foster connection and build community. Marguerite Casey Foundation president and CEO Carmen Rojas hosts a roundtable with local dignitaries, plus free food and music from Wave Chapelle, Squirrel Flower and DJ Shawna.
Sunday, May 17: Maifest returns to Lakefront Brewery. The gluten-free festival features food and craft beverages and several cask beers made for the occasion.
Saturday, May 30: The eighth year of Lager & Friends is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. The beer fest out on Vienna Street in front of Gathering Place Brewing highlights lagers from several standout breweries.
Saturday, May 30: Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing celebrates its 14th anniversary with live music, food vendors, a sale of vintage barrel-aged bottles and more.
Saturday, June 13: Sip and Savor Wisconsin (formerly the Wisconsin Beer Lovers Fest) comes to The Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd., Glendale) and the pavilion in its Old Heidelberg Park beer garden. Sample beer, wine, spirits and food from some of Wisconsin’s best artisan makers. Tickets start at $70.
