The next brewery take up residency at Havenwoods Taproom & Beer Garden (5840 N. 60th St.) is Colorado’s Outer Range Brewing. The brewery is the second one to take over the taproom, and it’ll be there for the rest of September.
Friday, Sept. 11
It’s the second weekend for the huge Oktoberfest celebration at Old Heidelberg Park thanks to the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 Lexington Blvd., Glendale). Admission is $5 on Friday (4 to 11 p.m.), $10 on Saturday (11 a.m. to 11 p.m.), and free on Sunday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Groups can reserve picnic tables ahead of time.
Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) hosts another brewer’s toast to celebrate its 10th anniversary at 5:45 p.m. Beers from the first keg are just $1 until it’s empty.
Torzala Brewing is pouring at the beer garden at Klode Park (5960 N. Lake Dr.). Hours are 4 to 8 p.m.
Try samples from 3 Sheeps Brewing and the Milwaukee-brewed non-alcoholic brand Mash Gang at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12
Erv-toberfest at Erv’s Mug (180 W. Ryan Rd.) returns for a 16th year. Come hungry and thirsty to the fest which includes a German food buffet and unlimited tasting of nearly 100 kegs of seasonal fall beers. You get all this for just $50. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m., which is plenty of time to indulge.
Lakefront Brewery is creating three beers (Our Lager, Our Stein and an Oktoberfest) that will be pouring at the Oktoberfest hosted by the School Sisters of St. Francis (29th and Orchard streets) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Purchase a commemorative stein for $14 and refills are just $7.
Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) gets into the Oktoberfest spirit with a party from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. It’s releasing a pair of seasonal Eagle Park beers and three MKE Brewing brews. There will be beer chugging, stein hoisting, shotskiing and live music. The family-friendly event is free.
There are two beer releases coinciding with Oktoberfest at Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton) from noon to 10 p.m. Sip on Sahale Luftkuss Oktoberfest and Gathering Place Festbier while enjoying German music and food.
Tour de Taps is a leisurely ride along the Oak Leaf and Hank Aaron trails that includes stops at the War Memorial Beer Garden, MobCraft Beer and the Estabrook Park Beer Garden. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and wraps up with a party at Estabrook at 4 p.m.
Central Waters Brewing is marking its fifth year in Milwaukee (1037 W. Juneau Ave.) with a block party. The festivities include the release of three special brews: a West Coast triple IPA, a barrel-aged barleywine, and a barrel-aged s’mores stout.
It’s Pumpkin and Oktoberfest Beer Day at The Tap Yard – Brookfield (2925 N. Barker Rd.), which will be pouring seven beers that are perfect for the season.
Both Sprecher Traveling Beer Gardens are onto their final stops for the summer. The Pass Me a Pint Tour will be at McCarty Park (8214 W. Cleveland Ave., West Allis) on Saturday and Sunday. The Roll Out the Barrel Tour stops at Greenfield Park (2028 S. 124th St., West Allis) for the weekend. Hours for both are noon to 7 p.m.
The Bayside beer garden is open at Ellsworth Park (600 E. Ellsworth Ln.) from 3 to 8 p.m. Torzala Brewing is providing the beer.
Sunday, Sept. 13
Perspective Brewing is bring a few of its beers to fellow West Allis establishment Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St.) for a meat raffle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You get one raffle ticket with each Perspective beer you order.

Thursday, Sept. 17: The popular Flight Night comes to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center (1111 E. Brown Deer Rd.). Meet a few birds of prey and sip on beers from nine area breweries.
Saturday, Sept. 26: Third Space wraps up its birthday month with a huge 10th anniversary party.
Saturday, Sept. 26: Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) has some barrel-aged beers ready to be released at its 11th anniversary party.
Saturday, Oct. 8: Zoo Brew returns to the Milwaukee County Zoo (10005 W. Bluemound Rd.). Plenty of area breweries and food vendors will be there. Tickets start at $60.
Saturday, Oct. 17: Havenwoods Taproom & Beer Garden hosts the Third Annual Beer Trail Invitational from 1 to 6 p.m. More than 30 breweries will be pouring nearly 100 beers for you to sample. Tickets start at $50.
