5 Things to Do in Milwaukee This Weekend That Don’t Involve a Crowd: April 10-12

It’s the weekend in the 414! Here are five things to do in Milwaukee.

1. Virtual Sangria Lab

Pick up a “Sangria Lab Kit” from Don’s Grocery & Liquor and tune in to Movida’s Famous Sangria Lab on Saturday at 4 p.m. for a Facebook live lesson. They will talk about the history of sangria and learn how to make it like them.  

2. Watch the Milwaukee Rep’s Production of Eclipsed

Sunday is your last opportunity to stream the Milwaukee Rep’s production of Eclipsed. The story is five women who form an unlikely sisterhood as they struggle to negoiate power, protection and peace as they try to survive. The play has been nominated for six Tony Awards. 

3. Get Free Froyo With Your Kid

Yo Mama! in Brookfield is giving away free frozen yogurt to kids on Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. You can order the froyo online for pickup, but a child must be present to redeem the free desssert. 

4. Tour a Virtual Museum

Seven Milwaukee museums are offering virtual tours. You can check out America’s Black Holocaust Museum, Grohmann Museum, Haggerty Museum, Harley-Davidson Museum, Jewish Museum Milwaukee, Milwaukee Art Museum and Wisconsin Black Historical Society Learning Center online.
