Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing is establishing a location in Milwaukee by joining the East Side taproom of Hacienda Beer and Door County Brewing.
Door County Brewing opened the taproom under its Hacienda brand in the longtime BBC bar, 2018 E. North Ave., in 2019. The Door County brand joined later. With the addition of 3 Sheeps, signage has been updated to Triple Taproom & Kitchen.

Half of the taproom’s 20 draft lines will pour 3 Sheeps beers, and there’s also a cooler offering packaged 3 Sheeps beer, including taproom exclusives that previously required a drive to Sheboygan for fans of the brewery in Milwaukee – the brewery’s biggest market. There are 150 stores, bars and restaurants that carry 3 Sheeps beer within 5 miles of the taproom, 3 Sheeps founder Grant Pauly said.
“We’d get calls all the time – an hour is just too far,” he said. “And it was still amazing how many Milwaukeeans would come up on the weekends and for our releases. [Milwaukee’s] been great to us. So having a place now where we can take care of them is gonna be nice.”

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

Door County and 3 Sheeps already had a close relationship – Door County Brewing’s beer has been made at 3 Sheeps since 2020, and Hacienda’s production moved to 3 Sheeps as well in February.
“We’ve known and been good friends with Door County and Hacienda for years, and have kind of joked about just moving in together,” Pauly said. “And then that turned a little bit more serious as we both kind of thought about it separately and realized, you know, our beers are so different. Having the Hacienda and the 3 Sheeps, it creates a really great lineup for people to come and get anything that they want.”
The addition of 3 Sheeps becomes official when the taproom opens at 4 p.m. Friday, though a soft launch of the three-brand concept began last week, Pauly said.
