Thursday night, the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee ended with Donald Trump accepting the party’s presidential nomination, capping Cream City’s historic week in the global political spotlight. The former president spoke for the first time since the attempt on his life on Saturday, recounting his experience of the event. “I’m not supposed to be here tonight,” he said.
Wisconsin billionaire Diane Hendricks, co-founder of Beloit’s ABC Supply spoke at the event, as well. Other prominent speakers included conservative media figure Tucker Carlson; professional wrestler Hulk Hogan; Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump; Dana White, the CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship; and Franklin Graham the president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Kid Rock also performed his son “American Badass.”
