Inspired by pandemic-induced writer’s block, the new show opening at Next Act Theatre on Friday explores a 17th-century lockdown. From playwright Bill Cain, the story follows Shakespeare sheltered with two unlikely companions as he attempts to write his next masterpiece. Get tickets online.

3. Art Museum Free Day
FRIDAY 10 A.M.-8 P.M.| MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
Admission for the Milwaukee Art Museum is free on Friday to commemorate the late Dr. Alfred Bader of Bader Philanthropies, a notable supporter of the museum’s community outreach. Take a self-guided tour and experience the pieces of European art that Dr. Bader contributed to the collection.
4. Art in the Green

Over 30 local and regional artists will showcase their work at this two-day art event. Enjoy music, food and access to all three domes while browsing the pieces. Admission is included with purchase of a domes ticket.
5. Story Hill Makers Market

6. Riverwest Pub Crawl

7. Outdoor Rock Climbing
