Northpoint Custard’s (2272 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.) impending opening (Saturday, May 21) is proof that the summer season is… coming. It sure is. As in years past on opening day, the drive-in custard shop is offering a free burger to the first 150 people in line. That starts at 10:30 a.m. The shop’s regular hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (through Labor Day, weather dependent). Besides frozen custard cones, sundaes, malts and shakes, the shop offers various burgers, grilled cheese, fish sandwich, fried cheese curds, onion rings, fries and more.
