Today’s Media Day at Miller Park revealed the many delicacies that can be yours when you visit the ballpark this year. Nachos-on-a-stick sounds pedestrian compared to the lineup offered at Smoke Shack and Holey Moley Coffee + Donuts, which has joined its sister restaurant AJ Bombers at Miller Park. As promised earlier this year, Smoke Shack is offering a sandwich that uses the combined efforts of the BBQ joint and doughnut shop. It is the Ham-Dinger, a Holey Moley yeast doughnut stuffed with slow-smoked Berkshire ham (featured in one of the photos below). Other sandwiches on the Smoke Shack menu include pulled Berkshire pork, pulled, slow-smoked Smart Chicken on a pretzel bun, and BBQ seitan ($8.75-$9.75). For dessert, there’s bacon bourbon brownies a la mode ($6).
Holey Moley’s lineup offers a changing assortment of doughnut flavors ($3 each), plus brewed and iced coffee and even hot chocolate ($3-$3.50). However, the menu masterpieces are four doughnut-frozen custard sandwiches ($6 each) — Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Hella Nutella, P-Can Sam (pecan pie pieces, caramel, pecans), and Goober Jobber (pretzels, peanuts, salted caramel and peanut butter).
