Why You Need to Try This Cocktail at Goodkind

It’s spring captured in stemware.

Evoking the “calming,” “healing” work of Sojourner Family Peace Center, Goodkind’s new “A Walk in the Garden” cocktail is raising money for the nonprofit as it captures spring’s essence of renewal. Co-owner Katie Rose first made the low-alcohol sipper – a blend of Spanish vermouth, umeshu plum saké, bitters, tonic and a homemade celery shrub, topped off with cava – for a Sojourner benefit dinner. Edible-flower ice cubes, inspired by “the beautiful flowers and colors” at the Sojourner Center provide the final, lustrous flourish.
