Why Lakefront Brewery’s Three Stooges Are Wearing Masks

Larry, Curly and Mo are doing their part to flatten the curve.

This year’s 414 Day felt a little different. While there are usually celebrations around Milwaukee, this year we celebrated together … except not together. Lakefront Brewery founders Russ and Jim Klisch hosted a virtual toast for 414 Day at 4:14 p.m. to healthcare workers.

Healthcare workers, with a valid I.D., were able to pick up a free Riverwest Stein six-pack from noon to 8 p.m. A gluten-free alternative and root beer was offered as well.

“Due to coronavirus we weren’t able to have what we planned for our 414 Day celebration,” stated Wendy Testin, Lakefront Brewery bookkeeper, “So the event was changed to give back to the healthcare workers right now”.

Not only did Lakefront Brewery’s founders and employees toast to healthcare workers, but so did the Three Stooges. Larry, Curly and Mo were suited with masks in honor of the event and toast.

We’re hoping to see their friendly faces unveiled soon, but in the meantime, stay safe Milwaukee.
