Green Bay Packers’ fans will be flocking to area bars and house parties early Sunday morning as the team plays its first-ever game in London.
Kick-off is set for 8:30 a.m. Sunday (2:30 p.m. London time) as the Packers take on the New York Giants. The Packers are the 32nd, and last, team in the NFL play in London since the league began playing there in 2007. The Packers flew to London on Thursday.
“I think it’s a good perspective moment for all of our guys to see how special it is the opportunity we have to play a game that has worldwide reach,” Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on Friday.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the 62,850-capacity home of Premier League soccer club Tottenham Hotspur. Packers’ fans have been spotted around London this week leading up to the game.

Several pep rallies are being held around London. A main pep rally, hosted by Green Bay native and sportscaster John Anderson, will take place on Saturday. The event will feature former Packers’ players Marv Fleming, LeRoy Butler, Nick Collins and James Jones, as well as Packers’ President and CEO Mark Murphy.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium team store is even selling cheeseheads.
Packers-Giants matchup is the second of three NFL games being played in London this season.
The Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay’s division rival, played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday. The Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars will square off at Wembley Stadium, considered the home of English football, on Oct. 30.
