Bust out the roller blades and brush up on the Macarena because it’s feeling like 1994 again in Milwaukee.
This fall the Bucks will return to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in more than three decades, with 2026-27 games airing on MY24 (WVTV-DT2) and statewide affiliates.
MY24 first served as the over-the-air broadcast home of the Bucks from 1988-94. Viewers in the Milwaukee area will again be able to watch Bucks games over-the-air on MY24 as well as on most major cable systems and YouTube TV during the 2026-27 season.
The Bucks are working with Atlanta-based Rincon Broadcasting Group, which operates mid-market television stations, on a statewide affiliate network and streaming options; details will be announced later. Through the partnership, Bucks pregame, in-game and postgame coverage will be offered for all locally available Bucks games during the coming season, including preseason. The Bucks also said they will develop a direct-to-consumer streaming service.
The move comes after Main Street Sports Groups, which owns FanDuel Sports Networks, shut down its operations after the 2025-26 NBA regular season. FanDuel Sports Networks, known previously as Bally Sports Wisconsin and Fox Sports Wisconsin, had carried Bucks and Brewers games for the past for nearly two decades.
“This season marks an exciting return to our roots as we bring Bucks basketball back to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in more than three decades,” Bucks President Josh Glessing said in a statement. “We’re grateful to our partners at Rincon Broadcasting Group for helping us make Bucks games more accessible to our fans throughout Wisconsin.”
The over-the-air broadcasts will tip off on MY24 with the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 when the Bucks play the San Antonio Spurs. The Bucks will then play the Phoenix Suns at 9 p.m. on July 13 and the Charlotte Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on July 15.
“This is more than a television partnership. It’s the return of a Milwaukee tradition,” Rincon Broadcasting Group CEO Kern Dant said in a statement.
Bucks officials also said that most major cable systems will offer games, plus streaming on YouTube TV. Milwaukee-based Good Karma Brands will partner with the Bucks to lead advertising sales of the games.
Brewers games are being produced and distributed by MLB this season after broadcast rights were transferred from Main Street Sports (formerly Diamond Sports Group). Brewers fans can also watch most regular season games live or on-demand via one of three primary Brewers.TV direct-to-consumer streaming subscription packages.
