Eli Young Band at The Rave

One of country’s greatest bands will be back at The Rave, Thursday, December 6, for their fourth performance. Some of their hits include “Even if it Breaks Your Heart” and “Crazy Girl.”

Jason Mraz at the Riverside Theater

This Friday, December 7, pop singer Jason Mraz brings “I’m Yours” and “I Won’t Give Up” to the Riverside Theater.

San Holo at The Rave

On Saturday, December 8, the Dutch artist and producer will bring his unique mix of trap and future bass to The Rave, keeping you dancing all night long.

The Chicago Jazz Orchestra Big Band Cavalcade

Join the Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Sunday, December 9, as they pay tribute to some of the big band era’s greatest groups, including Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Tommy Dorsey and many more. There will also be a silent auction and food from Braise.

Cherry Lambic Release with Biloba Brewing Co.

This Saturday, December 8, head to the Brew City MKE Beer Museum for a special tasting of Biloba Brewing Co.’s Cherry Lambic American wild ale. Admission also includes full access to the museum.

The Wonderworker at Gathering Place Brewing

Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) celebrates St. Nick’s Day with a beer release. Pick up a bottle of Wonderworker Biere de Noel and sample a pair of variants as well. Gathering Place will have a cask of 2017 Wonderworker aged in a Chardonnay barrel and a 2017 cellared Wonderworker pouring from the taps. The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 6.

Burn off extra Thanksgiving calories at the 3rd annual Festivus one-mile beer run, air your grievances and compete in various feats of strength, all while enjoying drink specials at Brady St. bars. The Seinfeld-inspired holiday hits Brady St. Saturday, December 8.

A Magical Cirque Christmas

Prepare to be amazed on Thursday, December 6, by the breathtaking circus acts and beautifully sung Christmas carols of A Magical Cirque Christmas at the Riverside Theater, all done by talented artists from around the globe.

Black Nativity

Watch the story of the Nativity unfold before your eyes through African American scripture, poetry, dance and song. The show starts Thursday, December 6, and runs through December 16.

Movie Night at the Pabst

Nothing beats movies and a beer, especially when it’s PBR and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The screening takes place Thursday, November 6, from 8-11 p.m.
