The Wolf on Broadway Adds Weekend Brunch Service

Fruity Pebble parfait and corn fritters with apple-chile jam are just a few of the items on the menu.

Since it’s much-longed-for opening in November, The Wolf on Broadway (600 N. Broadway) has been settling in and open for service every day but Tuesday and Wednesday. With the flip now to 2024, they’re adding weekend brunch – which shouldn’t be a stretch; The Wolf’s sister restaurant is Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern in Brewers Hill.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

The brunch menu seems like a natural extension of the dinner menu, which reflects the interests and backgrounds of both executive chef Kristen Schwab and chef de cuisine Val Bartram. There’s a Fruity Pebble parfait; corn fritters with apple-chile jam and a sunny egg; Pandan French toast (Hawaiian bread, pandan anglaise, coconut drizzle, whipped cream); and a Big biscuit with butter and pineapple habanero jelly. More too: gado gado brunch salad, chili crisp omelet, breakfast noodles, Irma’s chicken sandwich, and a burger (with an egg) as well. Menu items run $8-$18.

Brunch hours start this weekend (Jan. 6-7). Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Now, as they make this transition, they’ve changed the other service hours a bit, at least for the month of January. They’re serving dinner Thursday-Monday 3 p.m.-close, along with weekend brunch. Closed Tuesday-Wednesday. Weekday lunch service is on hiatus for the time being.

Reservations are available on The Wolf’s website.
