Jurassic Quest is a traveling dino show with true-to-size dinosaurs, interactive raptor training, rides, fossils and more. Tickets start at $26 for a standard package and $40 for a VIP package, with unlimited access to rides, fossil digs and a visit to the excavation station.
2. Holiday Mimosa Tour

3. “A Holiday Snowglobe” Floral Show

Soak up the last of the holiday vibes at the Mitchell Park Domes. Explore a field of hundreds of poinsettias, grouped with decorated spruce trees and other seasonal favorites for the show’s final weekend.
4. “Talk Back” Exhibition
ALL WEEKEND | THE CHARLES ALLIS MUSEUM
The Charles Allis Museum is putting on a three-part exhibition series reflecting on the estate, collection and land – and it’s the last weekend to see the first chapter before the second is installed. This first chapter focuses on painting, fiber, performance and time-based media installations “talking back” to the history of the Allis.
5. The Greater Midwest RV Show
ALL WEEKEND AT 4 P.M. | THE WISCONSIN CENTER
Check out what’s new for RV models this season at this all-encompassing event. New colors, floor plans and technology, as well as free admission will make for an exciting event that Milwaukee’s adventurers won’t want to miss.
6. Quilted Tarot Card Workshop
FRIDAY AT 6 P.M. | EB & FLOW DESIGN CO.
Back by popular demand, this workshop will teach folks how to quilt a tarot card. Guided by Kayle Karbowski of Other Dust and fiber artist Sarah Eichhorn, participants will consider the 22 major cards with an emphasis on the 2024 card of the year “strength” to create a quilt square and set intentions for the new year. All materials will be provided and there is no sewing experience necessary.
7. Equal Parts Opening Party
FRIDAY AT 6 P.M. | 1020 N BROADWAY
Equal Parts is a hybrid cocktail bar serving a menu of classic and experimental drinks that can be ordered either alcoholic or non-alcoholic. If you’re hoping to check out this new concept, EP suggests you get there early as tables are first come, first serve – and there is no cover at the door.
8. New Berlin Winterfest

Celebrate the winter season and shake off those cold-weather blues at New Berlin’s fifth annual Winterfest. This is a free, family-friendly outdoor festival featuring local vendors with everything from ice cream to tacos. The candle-lit hike with ice sculptures returns this year, beginning at 5 p.m. and directly followed by fireworks at 6 p.m.

The third annual N/A day lineup includes non-alcoholic beer and seltzer, kombucha, mocktails, non-alcoholic wine and spirits, tonics, craft soda, sparkling water, coffee, energy drinks, CBD products and more. Vendors range from local operations like Lakefront Brewery, Soul Brew Kombucha, Untitled Art, and Great Lakes Distillery to nationally-regarded brands like Athletic Brewing, Lagunitas, Clausthaler, Sierra Nevada, and Liquid Death. 10. Weizenbock Tapping With Urban Harvest Brewing

The Urban Harvest Brewing Company is kicking off the new year with a brand new beer – and a tasting. With Urban Harvest calling it the ideal winter brew, the Weizenbock is hazy and dynamic with notes of raisin and dried fruit. You can be among the first to try it this Saturday.
11. Frozen Paint Party
SATURDAY FROM 1-3 P.M. | JOYCE’S HOUSE EDUCATION CENTER
Celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Frozen with an Olaf painting session, complete with themed drinks, a photo booth and trivia. Costumes are encouraged for this free, kid-friendly event, and materials are provided. After painting, stay a bit longer for a screening of the film.
12. Drunken Star Warz
SATURDAY AT 8 P.M. | CSZ MILWAUKEE
Embark on a comedic adventure and enjoy a Star Wars themed line-up of local comedians and improv pros. This event is 18+ and cash only. Reserve tickets ahead of time for $10, or bring a group and enjoy the tipsy package complete with jello shots on the house and one free six-pack to enjoy during the show.
13. Cerebral – Dinner and Magic Show
SATURDAY AT 6 P.M. | THE SOCIAL AMERICAN TAVERN
A unique kind of magic show, Cerebral combines comedy with demonstrations of mind reading and mind control. The 60-minute show, thought up by local magician and deception artist Luka, follows a three course dinner (vegetarian option available) for which guests are encouraged to follow a business casual dress code.
14. Packers vs. Bears Watch Party
SUNDAY AT NOON | DOG HAUS BALLPARK COMMONS
Planning to catch the big game? Consider enjoying it with Dog Haus where, for $40, guests will receive a free tap beer, a free food item at half time, entry into a gift card giveaway, free swag from 3 Sheeps Brewing and touchdown shots on the house. 15. Chili Cook-Off Before Kick-Off

If you’re looking for a unique place to watch the game, the second annual New Barons Brewing Cooperative chili cook-off is a delicious choice. Public tasting begins 30 minutes before kick-off, and participants get four tickets to vote for the best and most unique chili. There will also be a free cookie bar, a 50/50 raffle and Packers bingo during the game.
