How well you appreciate the city of Milwaukee’s new mobile parking app will depend largely on how you feel about paying a small transaction fee, which can range from 20 cents to 38, depending on the method of payment. Like many other cities – including Chicago and Minneapolis – Milwaukee has partnered with the Parkmobile company to employ its mobile app, which relies on zone numbers now stickered to meters (and meter signs) across the city. By storing your payment info and displaying a handy counter (plus email alerts you can turn off), MKE Park transforms even meter plugging into an entertaining diversion.
