Look alive, North Shore burger lovers: Sobelman’s Pub N Grill North Shore opens Wednesday, August 5. After last night’s soft opening — when co-owner Dave Sobelman’s staff served 240 burgers in four hours — the joint will get off to its official start at 11 a.m. Hours and menu items might fluctuate based on demand and interest. But expect the restaurant to stay open until roughly 11 p.m. Mon-Sat (possibly an earlier closing time on Sundays).
As for the menu, the burgers number over a dozen, including The Sobelman (3 kinds of cheese, bacon, jalapenos and fried onions), The Big SOB (which is the Sobelman with three patties) and The Hangover (Colby-jack cheese, smoked bacon, fried onions and a fried egg). There’s also 14 appetizers (bacon-wrapped jalapeno cheese balls), several sandwiches and salads, a Friday fish fry, and couple of desserts. You all ready for this? (10352 N. Port Washington Rd.)
