Great Italian food has always been a cornerstone of Festa Italiana, making it one of Milwaukee’s favorite festivals. This year, Festa enthusiasts will be able to preview their favorite dishes before the gates open for Festa Italiana. On Restaurant Tuesday, happening Tuesday, July 18, participating vendors will offer dining previews of their forthcoming Festa fare, as well as regular menu items. Customers will receive a free admission ticket into Festa Italiana, which will be taking place July 21 through July 23.
Vendors participating in Restaurant Tuesday:
- Carini’s La Conca d’Oro
- Glorioso’s Italian Market
- Divino Wine and Dine
- Papa Luigi’s
- Pietro’s Pizza
- Saz’s State House
- Peter Sciortino Bakery
- Trattoria di Carlo
Attendants will only have to visit one of the restaurants to receive the free admission ticket. Many of the items on each of the restaurant’s regular menus will be featured at Festa Italiana, including pastas, ravioli, lasagna, sfingi, rice balls, chicken spiedini, fried eggplant and cannoli.
This is the first year Festa Italiana is hosting the restaurant preview before the festival, allowing festa-goers to get eager about the food and culture, all while getting a free ticket to the festival.
