Pick Up Some Pierogi from Hot Dish Pantry

Stop by for one of their delicious core varieties or pop in on a pierogi flight night to try special flavors.

There is comfort food and then there is pierogi. The Polish dumplings that might have crossed your path in frozen packaged form are a comfort chameleon in the hands of Hot Dish Pantry. The business that went from pop-up to food hall stall to South Side stand-alone sees limitless potential, offering four equally delicious core varieties: loaded baked potato, aloo chaat, pepperoni pizza roll and crab Rangoon.

Hot Dish’s dumpling sorcery is also at work in monthly pierogi flight nights, which pair seasonal and/or special flavors with beer. Held at local breweries like Bay View’s Supermoon, the flight pierogi often end up as specials on the Hot Dish menu, which also has the namesake casserole, sandwiches and snacks. Now that’s dumpling to talk about.

Hours: Wed-Sun, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. 4125 S. Howell Ave.
