Pack’s season ends with drubbing in Atlanta, Trump team airs alt-facts and HBO presents the Slenderman documentary

Here are our readings for the first Monday of Donald Trump’s America:

Sad news first: The Pack got trounced Sunday by the Atlanta Falcons. No Super Bowl for our boys.

Strange news next: The president and his press secretary, Sean Spicer, both made false claims about the size of his inauguration crowd, and aide Kellyanne Conway labeled those fibs “alternative facts.”

But give Trump a little bit of credit: From the Capitol, where he spoke, the crowd did look bigger than it did from the top of the Washington Monument.

Monday night is the premier of HBO’s Beware the Slenderman documentary.

And is that your million-dollar lottery ticket? It became a winner August 6, but it’s about to expire.
