  • As of 3 a.m. today, Milwaukee County bus drivers and mechanics are on strike. The Amalgamated Transit Union plans to resume service on Saturday, July 4. WUWM and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel have more info, and Urban Milwaukee takes a look at the myths about the strike.
  • Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders of Vermont will be in Madison today for a campaign rally. 9,500 people are expected to attend.
  • Kendrick Lamar, who will headline the Marcus Amphitheater tonight, just released a new video for To Pimp A Butterfly standout, “Alright.”

  • The Milwaukee Bucks are on the verge of signing 23-year-old restricted free agent Khris Middleton for a five-year contract worth $70 million, ESPN reports.
