Local Stores Participating in the First Ever Vintage Store Day

On Saturday, May 17, shopping at these local spots could win you a gift card

The very first Vintage Store Day is happening this Saturday, May 17. There are participating shops from all over the country – selling everything from clothing to home goods, jewelry and more! Milwaukee’s got a slew of vintage shops, and 13 are participating.

The celebration was created by Rare Form, a Chicago vintage shop specializing in curated selections of vintage items.

Participating stores have a Vintage Store Day Passport sticker. Visit more than one shop, collect the sticker and mail them to Rare Form for a chance to win $50 at a participating store of your choosing! Entries end June 1.

Refresh Vintage

921 E. OGDEN AVE.

This shop focuses on timeless, unique vintage items that inspire creativity. They offer high-quality clothing, accessories, home decor and furniture.

Bandit MKE

1224 E. BRADY ST.

Bandit is a vintage and modern shop on bustling Brady Street. Maybe you’re familiar with their frequent bin sales, or maybe you peruse their goodies before a night out on the town. They started as a pop-up event in the Midwest, but opened a storefront to give Milwaukee a chance to shop their inventory year-round.

Alive and Fine

2652 S. KINNICKINNIC AVE.

Established in 2016, this shop offers one-of-a-kind vintage pieces for everyone. Everything in the shop is hand-selected by the owner, Ashley Smith, who has experience in vintage for over 15 years. Alive and Fine specializes in vintage items from the 1940s to the 1990s, meaning there’s certainly something for everyone.

Old Gold

1427 E. RACINE AVE, WAUKESHA

This shop features a curated collection of vintage clothing. This shop is located in the Waukesha Antique Mall. Interested in archival or runway items? Those are by appointment only.

This Walker’s Point vintage store has a little bit of everything. They’ve got vintage clothing and furniture, handmade items and repurposed goods from over 40 vendors.

Ultratwist Vintage

7730 W. NATIONAL AVE.

Clothing is all about expressing yourself, right? This shop certainly thinks so. They’ve got a mix of everything – vintage clothing, modern resale, retro styles – all in different sizes at different price points.  

Get Blatzed Vintage

1512 W. PIERCE ST., BOOTH 244

This shop is located in Milwaukee’s leading antique mall, Antiques on Pierce. It sells a collection of vintage T-shirts, hats, sweaters and more.

Plume offers a personalized shopping experience for lovers of fashion, sustainability and the arts. They source unique, quality items from all over the country. They’ve also got goods from local artists and small business owners, too.

Get that classic vintage look at this antique and vintage shop. There are a lot of costume pieces and unique finds here.

This vintage furnishing store is a newcomer to Milwaukee’s vintage scene. Vintage furniture, lighting, art and home décor are plentiful in this shop.

This vintage collective aims to connect with vintage lovers with their high-quality vintage treasures. It’s more than a store! The shop is a creative hub for independent vendors to showcase their curated selections. Their racks are ever-changing, making every stop a different shopping experience.
