The Last Spot at Crossroads Collective Food Hall Has Been Filled

There’s going to be ceviche of the day and more.

Filling the last remaining space in the East Side’s new Crossroads Collective food hall is Raw Bar, which is exactly that ‒ a spot specializing in fresh seafood including oysters on the half-shell, king crab legs and seasonal crab claws. The bar’s owners are chef Jon Manyo (who operates Morel restaurant in Walker’s Point) and his brother David. Their target opening is mid-March.

The menu is still in utero but Manyo promises such things like a ceviche of the day, shrimp cocktail, lobster roll and lobster bisque, a fresh Albacore tuna melt and clam chowder.

The design (“whimsical,” “nautical” and “approachable” are words used on the press release) of Raw Bar will be inspired by two very different films ‒ Jaws and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

When Crossroads opened in mid-December 2018, six of the eight spots were filled (by businesses like Frida, The Laughing Taco and Heaven’s Table BBQ). The other remaining vendor spot will also soon be occupied, by Egg and Flour Pasta Bar.
