Kelley’s Farmstead Let’s You Hold Baby Farm Animals

The Fond du Lac spot let’s you snuggle up to a piglet, chick, calf, foal or lamb.

You’d be hard-pressed to find something cuter than a baby farm animal. And spring means babies at Kelley’s Farmstead outside Fond du Lac. From April 5-May 12, Kelley’s opens its barn to people of all ages to come on in and – it’s that simple – hold a baby farm animal.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

They have piglets, chicks, calves, foals, kids (baby goats) and lambs. The wholesome activity also serves a purpose: education. “It’s a lot more fun to learn about something when you can see it, touch it, interact with it,” says farmer Clark Kelley. A staff member is at every animal station to answer questions. Hours: Fri 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Sat-Sun 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Kelley recommends visiting in the afternoon, when it’s not as busy. Cost: $11 per person (kids 2 and up).
