Q&A
Why do you think it’s important to help others advance in their careers?
I have examples throughout my career of developing people and seeing where they are now in controller and CFO roles. It makes me so proud and happy. I feel it’s very important to pay it forward and give other people the same opportunities that have been afforded to me. – Erika Nowak
What advice would you give young women in your field?
Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself. Don’t be afraid to take on a project that’s visible. Don’t be afraid to take on a visible challenge that other people can see. It’s not necessarily about verbally advocating always. It’s about getting involved in projects that can demonstrate your competence. – Jennifer Johnson
