How to Decorate With Nature

Look outside your window for some holiday inspiration.

Deb Fowler, Tosa’s The Flower Lady, looks to the outdoors for inspiration for her decorating.

Before Fowler hangs any ornaments in her tree, she attaches natural elements – like pampas grass or pinecones – to the boughs with florist wire, adding “texture and depth and another element of visual interest” to the tree.

And don’t forget to spread the festive feeling to all the rooms.

“Try placing some of your ornaments on a bookcase,” Fowler says, “Or arrange them on your mantel or entry table.”
