June 2 is now officially Milwaukee Running Day. The celebration and fun run will be held at Veterans Park.
While the rest of the world celebrates Global Running Day today, June 1, our city will be celebrating its first official Milwaukee Running Day tomorrow, Thursday, June 2.
The inaugural Milwaukee Running Day celebration, presented by the PNC Bank Milwaukee Running Festival and Running in the USA, will begin with a 4.14-mile fun run at 6:30 p.m. in Veteran’s Park. The forecast boasts sunny weather and 70-degree temps, so there is no excuse to stay at home and miss the activities, which are free and open to the public. After the short run, stick around to enjoy food and beverages for sale as well as live music.
